SWIM CLUB FOOTBALL LEAGUE SEASON 5
OH HELLZ YES IT'S BACK. HARDEST-HITTING FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE ON THE INTERNET. ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH TO PARTICIPATE?
Here's what you need to know:
1. Go to: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/601770
2. Press some button that says "join" or something.
3. The password is "buttso".
4. Rank your players if you care to. Otherwise they're auto-ranked.
5. Participate in the draft on Wednesday, August 31st at 7:00 PM. Or don't. The computer will do it for you. (Time is negotiable if that doesn't work for anyone.)
Last year, Josh Schultz was 1st, Andrea Hargrave was 2nd, and the Commish was 3rd. Nicole was last, but that's fine!
Anyone who has participated in this will tell you what a rich and rewarding experience it is. And you don't use your old Yahoo account for anything else, so why not hop on board?

Michigan Connection: Robert Hayden
Robert Hayden was a poet from Paradise Valley, which no longer exists in Detroit.
This is probably one of his most famous poems.
It's very interesting to think how this might have influenced contemporary African-American forms of art.

Winning MAGGI Stories

One day, my husband's friends came home unannounced. I didn't know what to serve them. Then I thought of making MAGGI Bonda with Masala MAGGI. His friends were very impressed, and my husband praised me for my intelligent idea!

Though it was an official holiday, I had lots of urgent office work -- which meant I had no time to eat all day! At around 1:30 a.m., when I was finally done with my work, the only thing that rescued me from the growling hunger was a steaming bowl of delicious MAGGI noodles!
